John Wright was called by Christ in May of 1987 and immediately began serving as a worship leader for Coastland’s Christian Fellowship in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over the next 25 years, he served as a worship pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor planting 5 different churches over 10 years. As a leader, John oversaw the creation and annual convention of the Fire of the Holy Ghost Conference in Arizona. Two missions groups were created to serve Mexico, one as an annual pastors conference in Mexico held in Colima, Mexico with over 500 attendees. The other was an orphanage group in Atil, Mexico where children of incarcerated or poor parents could be housed and cared for. His tent-making business activities include 35 years as an independent business consultant and now works from retirement at the Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, MO. John has two daughters 15 & 17 that consume the better part of his time with competitions in choir, color guard, and track and field.
Role on the Board of Directors: Chairs and manages all meetings, helps the organization stay organized, uses vast past experience to bring counsel and and advice on best practice.
